(PI)
фін. індекс прибутковості
показник відношення величини поточної вартості (present value) передбачуваних грошових потоків (cash flow) до величини початкової інвестиції (initial investment); має таку формулу підрахунку:
PI = PVCF ÷ Initial investment
де PVCF — поточна вартість передбачуваних грошових потоків; ♦ за цим показником оцінюється доцільність інвестиційного проекту (project); якщо значення показника більше від одиниці, то підприємство схвалює такий проект, оскільки матиме користь від його реалізації, і навпаки, якщо значення менше від одиниці, то проект відхиляється, бо показник вказує на втрату грошей у майбутньому
